V.V.S.& SONS was founded by Mr. Shunmuga Nadar in 1939.He had the opportunity to study, and learn the art of making sesame oil in Virudhunagar, India. Although During those times the facility and equipment were totally dependent on manual labor He established an extra ordinary system for producing better and consistent quality of sesame oil, making it very popular and establishing a brand name.

Amongst the vegetable oil producing companies in South India, V.V.S.&SONS is very well-known. The company registered in 1939 and consequently, registered the products trade mark "V.V.S".

The company has to date more than 55 years of experience in this field, The company has been continually updating it's equipments and facilities. New product lines such as natural Peanut Oil, Dhalls and recently an all natural health drink has also been developed.

All products are developed to high standards of Quality while maintaining the original flavour, aroma and maintaining it's natural properties.

V.V.S. & SONS is now exporting it’s oil as well as other traditional south Indian products such as vathals, vadams, jaggery, rice and other items to the USA.
